World Child Cancer is a UK charity helping some of the poorest children worldwide access cancer diagnosis and care. These children, and their families, struggle to reach appropriate treatment, and then face the huge financial burden that a cancer diagnosis brings.
The old website was static and not engaging. Oyster worked with the World Child Cancer team to identify key points of messaging, create a design style that sat alongside their brand and developed an additional colour palette to give the website extra depth.
The new website is fully responsive and presents the work of the charity in a positive way whilst also addressing the urgent need that they have for support. The website displays the impact that the charity has and details ‘life stories’ which are engaging and emotive. The site has a fully interactive events and fundraising sections where site visitors can get involved. It also has a donation tool the gives the user lots of options on how to support the charity financially.
