Direct Marketing appeal
Having come a long way in their fight to ban neonicotinoid fertilisers, helping to achieve a temporary EU ban, The Soil Association needed to reinvigorate supporters to fight attempts by big companies to overturn the ban. There is extensive research that indicates that neonicotinoids are extremely damaging to rural wildlife. The direct mail piece needed to be very clear in it's purpose, which was to rally support once more to combat tthe financial and political muscle of the big corporations that are seeking to overturn the ban.
Oyster worked with The Soil Association to shape and write copy with a very clear call to action. Having established a strong message, we worked on illustrations and key facts that quickly communicated core information. The combination of key facts combined with compelling information drew an excellent response. Digital graphics were used across web and online banner advertising extended the message to recognised target groups. The campaign far exceeded targets.
