Marie Curie Brand Refresh
Oyster worked with Marie Curie to review some of their design challenges and update their brand design guidelines to give greater flexibility and a fresh look and feel.
Over a period of time Marie Curie's brand guidelines had begun to be breached and the consistency of their communications needed attention. Oyster were employed to review the current guidelines, understand some of the issues designers faced and to then review and redraw the guidelines to give designers more freedom whilst also controlling the brand look and feel.
We started by collecting all their print materials together and spreading them out over a very large table. This enable the MCCC team and Oyster to identify some of the issues. Working with their Head of Communications and Lead Designer we reshaped the designs and found solutions to some of the challenges experienced by designers. We then provided full design guidelines with comprehensive layout examples.
