On Friday, with the weather holding and the team bursting with excitement, we headed for our annual Christmas day out. The Oyster team look forward to this all year round and it did not disappoint. With a day packed full of activities, there was something for everyone.
Stop 1: Alpaca Walking at Dunreyth Alpacas
Our first stop was Dunreyth Alpacas. The team were each assigned a llama or alpaca to walk and much fun was had by the team as they bonded with their new friends up to a beautiful point overlooking the West Sussex countryside.
Stop 2: Lunch and Skittles at the Barley Mow
After dropping our new fury friends back home, the Oyster team headed to the local pub for some food, drinks and ‘friendly’ competition. The skittles alley at the Barley Mow provided the venue for a battle for the coveted ‘top score’ trophy. Rich’s team were thrilled to get the win after strong performances from Anna, Mike and Dave.
Special mention goes to Dan for winning the best individual bowler (of course he did!) and Mike for winning the shootout not once but twice!
Stop 3: Coal Exchange and a Pub Quiz
After leaving the Barely Mow well refreshed and fed, the team made tracks for the Coal Exchange in the centre of Emsworth. Once there, the team continued the activities with a great pub quiz delivered by Anna.
All in all, the day was a fantastic way to celebrate an excellent 2019, many thanks to Anna and Kharran for organising a superb day.
