Age UK 2013 Annual Report and Review

The brief

It was improtant to Age UK that the both the Annual Report and Review should highlight the work and achievements of the organisation clearly and effectively. The design needed to sit together and the Review needed to work as a compelling piece of communication showing both the challenges ahead and the achievements of Age UK. The reports also needed to identify the different pillars (areas of operation) in which the organisation operates.

The solution

We worked around a design that when shown on the front cover would illustrate the whole area of Age UK's operations. As the reader read through the report the individual section could then be drawn out for that particular subject. We used colours and simple illustrations to orientate the reader very clearly, and simple graphic devices to hold key facts and figures. The designs added interest and impact to achieve a powerful piece of communication. We are now working on this year's reports!
